Careers: Senior Media Buyer - Paid Social, The Money Manual Division at Aragon Advertising

We are seeking a creative, data-minded, individual who is passionate about media buying to join our team as Senior Media Buyer (Paid Social). The Senior Media Buyer (Paid Social) will build and optimize ad campaigns on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Quora, Snap, and TikTok for The Money Manual, with a goal of driving profitable ROAS at scale.

The ideal candidate brings expertise in media buying on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, with strong attention to detail and a deep understanding of consumer behavior. Acquiring conversions and optimizing ad spend towards down-funnel events to ensure quality traffic is the name of the game here, and you'll need to demonstrate a history of campaign optimization successes and the scale that you've unlocked. This is a highly integrated role and working well with content, creative, design, account management, and business development teams is a must to lurch towards shared growth goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and scale media buys across Facebook, Instagram, Snap, TikTok, Quora, Twitter, and Pinterest.
  • Achieve target performance and growth outcomes for all campaigns under management.
  • Work closely with creative and copywriting team members to devise compelling ads that engage consumers and drive conversions.
  • Implement strategies and direction that scale campaign activity while ensuring quality.
  • Develop best practices around audience creation and leveraging first-party data to improve ad targeting and ad quality
  • Keep up-to-date with evolving media platforms, digital marketing trends, and industry best practices.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in media buying in-house for a publisher, media company, or affiliate marketing firm
  • Experience in media buying for personal finance content a major plus
  • Expertise in Facebook Ads and TikTok Ads
  • Experience managing $500k+/month in spend on Facebook Ads
  • A strategic and creative approach to omnichannel marketing
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven track record in optimizing campaign performance to meet KPIs.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving their performance goals.
