Careers: Business Development Manager, Aragon Advertising

We are seeking a highly motivated, personable Business Development Manager to join our team to focus on affiliate and pay per call advertiser sales. At Aragon Advertising, we help clients acquire new customers through our internal media buying teams, publisher properties, and our vast, award-winning affiliate network. The Business Development Manager role will prospect for advertisers by developing a pipeline of new opportunities and responding to the needs of our team and affiliates.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in the affiliate or lead gen space and demonstrates a strong sales acumen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with our Director of Sales in prospecting, researching potential advertisers, outreach, and all stages of the sales cycle
  • Identify key players in the pay per call and affiliate marketing space who would fit well with our existing affiliate base
  • Manage lead generation and email outreach program for thriving and developing verticals
  • Communicate benefits and strengths of working with Aragon Advertising robust affiliate network and internal traffic sources
  • Act as the main point of contact for new advertiser opportunities across various business lines
  • Develop relationships with clients with an emphasis on superior customer service
  • Coordinate with teams internally to ensure optimal campaign performance and execution
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for both internal and external use
  • Negotiate and strategize with clientele on budgets and exclusive engagements

What You Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • 2+ years’ experience in business development for affiliate marketing
  • Hands-on experience working with Invoca, Ringba, Everflow, Cake, Tune, Impact, Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and other affiliate marketing platforms
  • Familiarity with the dynamics of pay per call marketing
  • Ability to work closely with account managers, affiliate managers and management teams
  • Understanding of the primary KPIs of marketing campaigns
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel a plus
  • Willingness to learn and apply yourself towards achieving the company’s goals
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic skills with an incredible attention to detail
  • Creative; focused on continuous process improvement
